"Sara Zarrella is truly one of the most professional people that
we have ever met! She helped to make our transition from frenzied lovebirds
to calm newlyweds painless. We were overwhelmed while planning and funding
our wedding, but Sara's optimistic attitude and kind words were what helped
us to remember that amidst the many dollar signs and demanding relatives,
we love each other. Although she is in this business to earn a living,
Sara's commitment to appeasing her clients and making them comfortable
is her priority. When Scott and I have children, we will definitely ask
Sara to photograph our pride and joy because she photographed our pride
and joy for each other on our wedding day."

"Our wedding day is one of the most important days of our lives;
when we saw Sara’s portfolio we knew we wanted her to capture each
moment of it. Her photo-journalist style is so genuine and sincere. After
receiving our proofs, I truly could not believe how the pictures told
a story of the whole day. Pictures that we didn’t even pose for
– those are our favorites! The simple ones where I was leaning down
to talk to the flower girl, when the wind was blowing my veil behind me,
our families, and of Jared and I running out of the rain (yes, it rained
on our wedding day)– she caught these rare moments that we never
ever expected to see!
She is outgoing and very professional. From day 1 she came out to
see the Church and reception hall – to the present where Jared and
I try to pick out the details for our album, she is helpful every step
of the way. I can honestly say that I would go back to her in the future.
She puts a personal touch on her work as if she is doing it for her own
family member – this was just the icing on the cake!
We couldn’t be with everyone through the day, but the photos
that were taken show friends and family having a great time – and
that is a great thing to see! The album we get will be the story of our
beautiful wedding day – Thanks Sara!"

“Sara was an amazing photographer to work with. We were initially
attracted to her both at a wedding fair because of the amount of work
she had put into creating her display. We met with several photographers,
but once we visited Sara’s studio we knew she was the one we wanted
to work with. Both of us had crazy schedules and lived two hours apart,
but Sara was willing to come in on her days off and odd hours so that
we could meet with her. We did an engagement shoot with her and she put
us at ease right away. Josh doesn’t like having his pictures taken
at all and he looks so natural and happy in the engagement pictures, we
were so happy with the results and to finally have pictures of the two
of us together that we liked. When the wedding came around we were very
confident in our choice of a photographer. Sara just has an artistic eye
and when we saw the proofs of our wedding pictures we were thrilled. If
there was a picture that we specifically asked for, she had taken it.
We had asked for a mix of some formals with the family, but mostly just
a photojournalistic style, not wanting everyone to seem posed in all the
pictures. Once we saw the 1000+ pictures she and her assistant had taken,
it was so hard to narrow down our choice of pictures to include in our
album. We gave Sara our unruly number of pictures that we couldn’t
eliminate, and she created such beautiful artistic album pages for us
that will be so great to look back on in the upcoming years. Sara is a
very talented photographer; is accommodating and willing to work with
her clients; and we highly recommend her for your wedding or special occasion.”

"A while back I decided to look into having
some family pictures taken. I talked with several professional photographers,
and even asked at Sears. In the end, my best sense was that the right
person for me was Sara Zarrella – and what good judgment that turned
out to be!
The experience was as comfortable and enjoyable and the results were
spectacular. Never having done this before, I anticipated feeling self-conscious
and uneasy. To the contrary, however, Sara’s attitude, preparation,
and professionalism made this a real pleasure.
This, of course, would be insignificant if the results were not satisfactory.
But again, my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. I have done
some photography in my life, and I’ve seen the work of a number
of pros. Sara’s work compare favorably with the best of them. It
is remarkable to me how almost everyone sees the main canvas print that
she did for me, comments on it – without it being brought to their
attention.
And I must mention one other pleasant aspect of the deal –
the cost. Sara is very competitive in her pricing. And for my money, nobody
competes with her for value.
Thank you very much, Sara."

"Sara photographed our wedding on May 13, 2006. Everyone dreams
of their wedding to be nothing but perfect, but for us it was anything
but. A week in advance we watched the weather like hawks. We saw that
the day of our wedding was going to have nothing but downpours. That normally
means good luck for other weddings, not for ours.
Everything was planned to be outside. From the ceremony, to the pictures
by our horse and carriage, to the pictures on the beach, to the months
of planning every detail out just gone in a matter of minutes. We immediately
called Sara for help. Without hesitation, Sara was on the phone calling
everyone and anyone she could to help us find a place to have our pictures
done. I was just mortified knowing that it's hard enough to find a decent
place in a years time let alone in a couple of days. She kept assuring
me and my husband that everything would work out and it would be ok and
that the pictures would still be great. She found us a place like she
said she would!
I found out, after the wedding of course, that my beautiful cake
had fallen. What a mess. But Sara came to the rescue again and was right
there to fix everything. The pictures came out so beautiful and I can't
say enough of how well Sara works with everyone and how unobtrusive she
is when she is photographing everyone. She really made the event come
alive in the pictures. Creative, great eye and comfortable looking posed
formals. Anyone who gets their event photographed by Sara will be extremely
pleased and find she is very professional. We didn't make it easy for
her and she certainly came through! Thank you!!"

"Sara,
I recently came into your studio
with our dogs, Chester and Amber. I must say, I really did not know what
to expect since this was an original experience for me and our black and
yellow labs.
Suffice it to say it was an absolute delight, and that is why I am
writing you this letter. Perhaps for you it was just routine and usual,
but for me it was more; let me explain.
You see, we’ve grown accustom, of late to a certain type and
level of service and skill, perhaps a natural result of our high production,
low medium quality, and lack of human connection society we’ve become.
At your studio it was different. Right from the start I felt quite
welcome, as did Chester and Amber, and this was obviously very important
to you. I really enjoyed being a part of your session, and really got
a very strong sense of your gift. Like with the sculptor who sees the
beauty inside the slab of stone and works to remove the extraneous matter
to uncover/unleash it. Thank you for letting me observes and be a part
of the process.
Soon thereafter, as you may recall, my wife and I came in to view
the proofs, and again I felt that your service was outstanding, and the
shots were awesome! You gave us the place, guidance, space, and time to
make our selection (which, as you know can be difficult with 100 photos
in front of you). Thank you for that. It was a pleasure to and through
and through.
I look forward to the next (I wish I was getting married).
Some people sell, some service, some service professionally, and some
service professionally and passionately. You are the latter, no doubt,
and I will recommend you gladly."

"This past April, my fiancé and I hired Sara Zarella
to photograph our engagement pictures. She was very professional and
made us feel incredibly comfortable. We were exceptionally pleased with
how wonderful our pictures come out. We have decided to use Sara as
our wedding photographer as well. I’m sure we will be equally
as pleased with her work."
