| - I am small in stature but big at heart - I love my mother’s Thanksgiving stuffing. - Orange is my color. - I love to laugh more than cry. I have always been completely fascinated by the stories people have to tell. My photographic journey allowed me to pursue my true passion. I enjoy weaving together a series of moments to create an intriguing tale, unique to each person and occasion. I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the art of storytelling during my education. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University, I continued my studies at the Rhode Island School of Design, The New England School of Photography and abroad in Florence, Italy at the Studio Art Center International. These experiences have allowed me to offer you a quality and style of photography that is unique. After completing my education, my career took me to the Big Apple; the city that never sleeps and a million stories just waiting to be told. I began working at InStyle magazine as a photo editor in Manhattan, where I was involved directly with the glamorous life of fashion shows, singers, actors and models. In 2003, I returned to my roots in East Greenwich, Rhode Island where I now own and operate Sara Zarrella Photography and enjoy photographing weddings around the world! Getting to know you on a personal level is not only a pleasure, but also the basis for creating photographs that resonate with you and your loved ones. Whether it’s the first kiss, symbolizing two people starting their new life together or the infectious giggles of a toddler exploring the world for the first time - I am honored to help transform passing moments into your lasting memories.
