|- I am small in stature but big at heart|
- I love my mother’s Thanksgiving stuffing
- Orange is my favorite color
Caffeinated (a.k.a high energy) interactive, vibrant, bold, colorful, balanced and identifiable are the “cliff notes”.
I have always been completely fascinated by the stories people have to tell. I enjoy weaving together a series of moments to create an intriguing tale, unique to each person and occasion. My photographic journey allowed me to pursue my true passion.
I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the art of storytelling during my education. After graduating from Northeastern University, I continued my studies at the Rhode Island School of Design, The New England School of Photography and abroad in Florence, Italy at the Studio Art Center International. These experiences have allowed me to offer you a quality and style of photography that is unique.
After completing my education, my career took me to the Big Apple; the city that never sleeps and a million stories just waiting to be told. I began working at InStyle magazine as a photo editor in Manhattan, where I was involved directly with the glamorous life of fashion shows, singers, actors and models. Just under 5 feet it is only fitting that I returned to my roots in the smallest state “Little Rhody”. I now own and operate Sara Zarrella Photography and Portrait Studio with the support of my awesome crew.
Lets get to know each other on a personal level and create photographs that resonate with you and your loved ones. Whether it’s the first kiss, symbolizing you starting your new life together or the infectious giggles of your toddler exploring the world for the first time - I am honored to help transform your passing moments into lasting memories. “The eyes are the windows to the soul.”
